Volunteers
The Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) is looking for volunteers to help out at our Annual Conference and Exhibition, being held in Vancouver, BC from October 3-6, 2011. This premier wind energy event will bring together over 3,000 experts from all over the world to discuss the opportunities and latest developments in the Canadian wind energy industry. The exhibition hall will feature over 250 exhibiting companies and will provide companies with an exclusive opportunity to network and generate new business leads.
Volunteers working for a full day will be provided with a free day admission to the Conference sessions and Exhibition. Volunteers who work for a half day will benefit from a free half day admission to the Conference sessions and Exhibition. Attending our Conference and Exhibition will allow you to network and meet prospective employers, and will give you the opportunity to learn more about the wind energy industry in Canada.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Policing entrances to session rooms and the exhibition hall
- Poster Set-Up
- Providing general directions and information to delegates
- Handing out Conference programs, Exhibition programs, and delegate bags
